One of my absolute favorite kitchen tools!!!
I have purchased at least 10 of these to give as gifts to friends & family-& I keep a new one in my pantry just in case something happens to mine! If I give that one away I immediately order a spare replacement one for myself. But I have used the same one for the last few years & it works great!! & it gets a workout all summer long making big batches of my homemade salsa. Vidalia Chop Wizard
Probably the 5th one I've bought and would hate to be without it. Use these to chop veggies for squash relish. Make upwards of 250 jars yearly to sell for church. Just wish I could find just the bottom replacement. My cooking NIRVANA.
I bought the original Vidalia Chop Wizard years ago, and used it all the time, until, unfortunately I broke the dicer attachment. For years I have been looking everywhere for the original set but was unable to find one. I purchased the "1 SECOND SLICER" a similar chopper, as seen on tv. Major Time Saver!
This is my second purchase of a Chop Wizard. So much time is saved when you have a recipe that requires a lot of chopping. My Vegetable Soup recipe calls for chopped onions, carrots, and celery. It's an okay product, reasonably priced, and sometimes VERY helpful.
While a relatively good value, I would say it's helpful and okay ... NOT fabulous. It takes quite a bit of effort for me to get the lid all the way through onions, carrots and other similar vegetables. Still I'm happy to have it, as the slices are more uniform that hand sliced. Further, while it can be somewhat faster than hand slicing and dicing, the pieces of the Wizard will have to be cleaned of any remains that might remain in the chopper and then washed either by hand or dishwasher , which diminishes some of the time saved.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Awesome Chopper
I love these and have had 2 or 3 since they first came out. They do not handle dropping on the floor well as I've found out the hard way. I still have parts of my original one that I inner change as needed if I break something. But they are so durable and make food prep tons easier. I use mine every single time I make a salad or am prepping veggies. You won't go back to the old way of chopping onions.
The Vidalia Chop Wizard is heavy duty, not flimsy. It works great and has nonslip feet on the bottom which keep the item from moving when you use it. Another thing that really makes it nice is it's dishwasher safe. Just to be extra careful, I use the top rack, even though it probably doesn't matter. This tool is a real time saver and I put it up there with the apple peeler as far as convenience, easy to use and gets the job done super fast.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good Product just be gentle
This is a good product and built fairly well. This is my second one. The first one worked great but you just can't force it down when chopping. Take it slow and push down with limited force to obtain the same results. I would not have bought a second if it didn't work.
