Small workaround required
Excellent value, and did exactly what i wanted it to do, (communicating with an 8x8x8 led cube using windows 10) Minor problem was that the software for this device has been deliberately downgraded to NOT work with windows 10. The device manager basically says "tough, won't work, contact vendor for a much more expensive device" (although not in those words obviously) The fix is simple, delete the driver file, (because oh so smart windows will reinstall it, despite your having put the correct driver there) and download "PL2303_Prolific_GPS_1013_20090319.exe" which is an older version, from 2015 which works. Run the exe, and you should see the working driver under device manager.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
