A decision well made
having changed the speakers on my PC four times I was still not happy with the quality of sound. My hi fi speakers in the lounge were wooden based and gave a lovely sound reproduction so when I looked over the range on offer for the fifth time and saw a wooden case holding base and tweet my interest was there. A low price made the decision easy. give it a go. Its good. Getting close to the lounge equipment and a pleasure to listen to the music. Even Elvis Presley sounds better. Cheap. Literally.
When I received the product, I plugged the USB and the 3.5mm jack and it was good for 5 minutes. Then one of the channels died. I unscrewed the back cover of the channel and no surprise. One end of the cable wasn't properly soldered. I soldered them properly and did the other channel for good measure. Extended the cables as well. Now it works, but cannot recommend based on my experience. Though, any other alternative with similar price should not be much more different.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very short wires
Sounds fine and bought because of the wooden box for the subwoofer but the wires it come with for the small speakers which need to be plugged into the box are very short (around 300mm) and joined together so separation of small speakers is originally no more than 100mm. excellent value for money
sound clarity is a load better than i would have expected from a speaker set of this price. the only down side is there's no off switch?? you have to unplug it if you want it off and thats 2 wires at the back of the computer....not ideal. apart from that its great.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fine for PC/Laptop use. Sound is fine. Two speakers look neat. It is a pity the on/off is on the side of the sub-woofer which is likely to be sited behind or below the screen.
