Portable and solid performer
I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter who loves it. There are a few makes available, all very similar but we ended up with the Crossley mainly as it was a name I had heard of and it compared well with the others which were available. Oddly I noticed that some of the other colours it was available in were more heavily discounted but turquoise was what she wanted and it still seems good value. The volume level when using the built in speakers is only moderate but plug it into a hif fi or home cinema setup as we did and it's as loud as you'd want. Ideally it would have been good to be able to pay slightly more to have the arm able to automatically lift and return at the end of the record which was a standard feature on the record players in my day but it's a small point and is not something which has bothered my daughter at all. Time to get some of that vinyl down from the loft now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Looks amazing and really nice. Spent an hour Christmas Day trying to get it to work - even though we had on th correct speed it was still very distorted. It's very quiet and doesn't run the best - seems to spin at a wonky angle. Very temperamental and works one day and doesn't the next. Okay for old records
