I love it. First stick vacuum for me ever. Vacuum revolution! I have a pet, which means constant hair shed on stair carpet, rugs, floors. No more pulling out a cord, plugging in, dragging round a sausage after me, up stairs and everywhere. As an easily convertible handheld, Dyson has the power to clean the hair ridden stair carpet. Attachments click in and out with ease. So easy to pick up and clean as required at a moments notice. My life will never be the same - I am happy to say! (and refurbished it may be but comes spick and slick and shiny new)

Same day I received the Dyson I tried it and the battery was overheating. We stopped, allowed to cool down and tried to charge the battery but was not working. Contacted the helpline the following day and after speaking with a very cheeky call centre man ( not impressed) he put me through to technical support. This time the person I spoke with was very professional and helpful. He did a video link and saw for himself the Dyson was not charging at all. I was informed this was unusual and for my inconvenience this would be replaced with a new one which I was grateful for. The old one was collected the filling day and replaced with a new one.

Really pleased with this. I wouldn’t could have told it was refurbished apart from a sticker on the box- it looked brand new in the original box with all the accessories. I was worried it would be heavy, but it’s no heavier than the V8 I would say. Our V8 has lasted 5 years, it still works well but one of the kids done something and the filter on the end doesn’t stay on so decided to get a new updated version. I liked the V8 for our tiled and Amtico floors, so quick and easy rather and plugging something in. The V10 is great on hard floors and even on the carpets makes a good job too. I have a shark cordless as well, and in my opinion any dyson wins hands down. We’ve had numerous vacuums over the years and dyson are my favourite. We usually go for the Animal version simply because we have dogs. This was a great price, I got an extra 10% off so it was on £270 so a real steal. Highly recommend and it only took 1 day to be delivered!! A******Read full review

I had been debating going cordless for vacuuming for quite a while and having done quite a bit of research, was delighted to find this refurbished Dyson Animal V10 at a price I could afford. My only regret is that I didn't take the plunge long ago! It's (almost) a pleasure to do the vacuuming now - so quick and easy compared to lugging around the heavy, corded machine it's replaced. The vacuum arrived ahead of the estimated delivery date, was well packaged and looks like new. I have a mid-size 2 bedroom flat and with the power on 2, I can do the whole flat with plenty of charge still left on the battery. The tools/attachments are easy to attach/detatch and the bin emptying is very easy. Following advice from other reviewers, I have purchased a spare filter to allow for adequate drying time when the filter needs washing. Very pleased with my purchase so far - time will tell if the Dyson reputation for durability and reliability is deserved.Read full review

We love this vacuum, This is the latest in a line of Dyson units that we've had over the years and we are truly amazed at how good this one is. The suction on low is more than adequate to clean up the every day mess from the cat fur and it gives a really useful run time. There have been a couple of occasions where we've used the higher settings and they really do the job. So far we've been able to do the whole house on one charge at low power and for that we are really pleased. The weight is a bit more than we expected but when you get tools connected it balances out just right and is not too much of a strain on the old arthritis. The price we paid was excellent and yes we know it's recon but you couldn't really tell, the recon job had been done very well. All the units in the box were in perfect condition and the battery only took an hour before it was ready to go. Emptying the bin is by far the best we've had and the mess slips easily into the waiting receptacle with no dust flooding out after the pet hair. We have bought some replacement filters as in past experience you are better off leaving the initial one longer than twenty four hours to dry. We are happy to recommend this V10 as we have all our previous vacuums and I am sure that the V11 is well worth a try as wellRead full review

Definitely a lot more powerful than our previous V7 and picks up even more than old Dyson corded model. Despite the fact it states refurbished on it could not see any evidence it had been previously used. Comes with a lot more accessories than the V7 with a crevice tool, an upholstery head, large and a small motorheads. To conserve battery life you have a number of speed settings. When first assembled I couldn't get the extension tube to click properly into the body, just compressed the rubber seal around the lid slightly and no problems after that. Just needed the seal bedding in.

My first Dyson, felt costly but well worth the money after buying a less expensive rival brand previously which was inefficient and made vacuuming far harder than it had to be. Many attachments supplied, which help with cleaning nooks and crannies, sofas etc. Not a huge battery life when switched on to turbo mode but so efficient, it's just enough time for my 2 bed house. Of course, on a lower setting, the vacuum would last longer before needing a charge. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is pretty amazing. Had a try out of my dad’s cordless Dyson and couldn’t believe that I’d assumed cordless would not match up to a traditional upright corded. So I’d had a trusty old original upright dyson for years and loved it. It finally broke after many many years and I bought a rival make which I thought was “ok” however 6 months later and chronic sciatica blamed on heavy vacuum, I tried out my dads cordless dyson and I was amazed! Got myself one and never looked back. It’s light, portable and fast-and strong enough suction. Why did I waste years pulling a big heavy upright around. Loads of charge to last throughout my family sized home. I really wish I’d bought it years ago. Love all the attachments and it can be used as a hand held. I absolutely recommend these!

Everyone seems to comment about the short battery life, this is true if you use it in turbo mode all the time, but we use it mainly in the other modes to get the main dust and dirty and then go over it in turbo if necessary. The other problem is how much the dust container holds, to get round this we have a small office size waste paper bin with a waste bag inserted and just pop the collected dirt in the bin. We were surprised just how much power there is and how well it picks up cord free makes it easy to do stairs.

Delivered in less than 24hrs, Very well packaged, Advertised as refurbished but looks brand new, Very easy to use. I've been sceptical about battery powered vacuum cleaners for some years but now realise that I need not have worried, on one charge on low power it will clean the whole of a three bed semi, no wires to get tangled, no heavy machine to lug about. It's brilliant, I wished I had purchased one years ago. One suggestion I would like to make, is that Dyson should have a test drive scheme, as it's expensive, I'm sure they would sell many more
