Good Quality but could be even better
This is a well made heavy Tufnol jig with a separate "tie-bolt" jig which is a boon as it makes it so easy to match up both sides of the masons joint with the same corresponding bolt positions. However, there are 2x things that would make it better. There is hardly any lead-in or overhang to start the routing on the mason joint. Just another 20mm (or more) would make it easier to use as one has to double check the router bit and guide are actually inside the cut-out as it's so very close to the start and hard to see before starting. Another improvement would be to have a third peg or another peg hole to line up the jig square when one does a trim cut or the male cut. As it is, the 2x peg holes are so close together it is easy to rock the jig away from an exact 90 degree alignment ..I had to check and recheck with a square as I could not trust the jig alignment as as said easy to rock slightly even though the pegs fit very tightly and securely.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

perfect offset joints
Perfect for offset joints, basic Jig and does what it says on the tin! Also great value, any body thinking of buying a well known brand should reconsider as you are only paying for the name. As this does the job better than a lot of others i have used in the past. especially out of square joints with small radius profile worktops. small compact and easy to store as well, Down side could have had 20 or 30 mm extra length at front edge for more stability for router base plate to sit on and maybe incorporate a curve on the end for doing end radios cuts. other than that its great highly recommend.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This is a great item. Made cutting the worktop very easy f you read the instructions and follow the steps. My only complaint is you need to login and read the instructions or print yourself. This isn't great when you don't have access to a printer and have to read them on a phone. DIY quality work too finish
This is s fantastic bit of kit. It is easy to use and produces a really excellent finish. This was my first time cutting angles but you would never know it looks like it was done by a professional. It is also extremely versatile with a selection of angles in addition to the male and female joints. I also use it as a straight edge when using a circular saw.
