Great product and does what it says on the tin
Very impressed with this stuff. It comfortably took off what seemed to be at least 10-12 layers of old paint - including a couple of layers of gloss(!) - from the walls in a bathroom in our late 1930s bungalow. For larger flat areas like walls, you need to spread the paste evenly before applying the supplied plastic sheets and I as found on my project, leaving the product on for 48 hours+ definitely helped get the paint to a point where it was soft enough to scrape off with relative ease. Removal is definitely a pretty messy job though as the old paint can become very gloopy and sticky, so trying to clear up as you go is worthwhile. The end the result really was worth it and unlike the more powerful Peelaway 1, there is no pH neutralising required on the walls afterwards. Would recommend buying a tester pot first though to do a test patch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Absolutely amazing
Had 36 spindles to strip!!! Boring and so time consuming with paint stripper and Nitromours! This stuff you just put on, wrap the plastic blanket around (i sealed it with masking tape on overlap) and leave. I left it on for 36 hours and it had pulled the paint away! It is a little messy when scraping it off but the result was fantastic. Tip: After you have scraped the Peelaway 7, rub the surface straight away with wire wool for a flaw less finish :) Its not cheap to buy, but if you are faced with a paint stripping job like I had you wont be disappointed! Our spindles despite it being an old house, only had 2 coats of paint on top of wood stain and varnish!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
