Secure cross-cut shredding is a great feature.
This shredder works well without becoming blocked with bunched-up paper, like my old one did. It also crops the paper into 3 or 4 centimetre pieces which offers better security when dealing with sensitive documents, e.g. old bank statements etc. The build of the machine is quite heavy and robust, I would recommend it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Bit Too Lightweight!
Clogs up easily even feeding in one sheet at a time. Not very easy to feed sheets into machine. Easier to clear jams than my old shredder which needed some dismantling. I think little and often is the only way to use this machine. The recommendation of two minutes use followed by 30 minutes rest not really up to what I would like as I can't shred many sheets in two minutes. A value shredder, easy to handle
Shredders are always a gamble... they often wind the paper around the cross cutters, especially if they have a plasticised element within them. This is quite good, but will only suffer a couple of pages at a time or it makes noise and slows down. I would not try to shred 6 at a time. It does the job - I get my mothers personal papers to shred as well as my own. If I use intermittently it does the job. Needs a few extra bits added.
Easy to set up and to operate but disappointed with the way the heavy too just sits on a very light bottom half. Would be better if there was some kind of fastener. It also lacks a handle. Every time you try to pick the shredder up you end up just lifting the blades away from the collection bucket and bits of paper end up all over the floor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Does what it says
Pros : Does what it says. Can do heavier tasks. Great size Good quality Cons : Gets hot in 2 mins ( non stoppable use) so not suitable for big amount of papers. Bin doesn't lock with a lid. So if want to move to other place, need to lift from the bottom.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

New to cross shredding.
I have not had a cross cut shredder before. It is more dusty than the straight shredder, but the bin takes care of that. Seems okay, it does not like small till receipts which have a shiny finish, however, if fed with another plain paper will cut no problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
