Good starter kit for newbie beekeepers

Frames don’t fit.
After several messages and after purchasing 2 brood boxes the frames just don’t fit right. When you place the frames in the box the queen excluder doesn’t sit flat. I’ve messaged several times and I’m just not getting answers. Every beekeeper I’ve spoken too have repeatedly said they should sit flat.
