Quality Counts
The Quality and ease of assembly for the surround are due to the fact that the instructions are easy to understand and all parts and fastenings line up accurately. The 'fire unit' is a good fit into the surround and looks amazing when switched on. A single handset controls, On/Off, LED Flame intensity, LED Surround colours, Timer, Temperature and 2 Heat output settings. I have seen almost Identical fire Suites to this on the internet, some are nearly £100 cheaper but buyer beware, when looking into these 'Offers' some of them are very poor quality clones. I spend a lot of time reading reviews and deliberating before i spend my hard earned cash (I'm a yorkshire man) and i hope that my review nudges you to do the same. Electric heaters
Hi, I live in a studio apartment and this was the only heat source I have, it does not kick off much heat and the fan is very load. It does how ever look good, the flame I mean, the surround looks a bit cheap. I used to rent my studio, but I have just moved back in. When I lived in it before I had one of those old fashioned 2 bar electric fires, that was good, instant heat straight away. With this fire it takes ages to heat up and when you first turn it on it blows cold air around. I'm surprised it got so many good reviews, but maybe it's because people also have central heating, if this is your only heat source, don't bother. Beautiful fire and surround.
I cannot recommend this fire and surround enough. It took approx 30 mins to put together and then another 10 mins to set in place. It looks stunning, especially in the evening when the flames and surrounding lights are on. The flames look very realistic. I looked around at lots of fires before purchasing this and any that were as good quality as this one were double the price. I would definitely recommend this fire to anyone. Absolutely perfect
I absolutely love this fireplace. It looks beautiful, heats up the room great, is very easy to put together and is very solid once built. I've seen a few reviews saying that the fan is quite noisy however I find the fan isn't loud at all and doesn't bother me one bit. The led lights on the fireplace are great but the flame effect on the fire itself is just something else, it's incredible and very realistic. I couldn't get over how good it looks. Highly recommended this product, don't hesitate or try find anything cheaper as this is very cheap for the quality you're getting!

Endeavour electric fire
This fire was really easy to put together and only took me 30 mins on my own. I would just point out that it is easier to attatch the brackets to the fire before placing in the surround to join the 2 together. Iv placed my fire on top of a granite base because I think it looks better than sitting on top of the laminate flooring. The fire looks lovely and cosy when the mood lights and and logs are lit up. The fan can be noisy when the heat is switched on but not heard over the tv and soon warms the room up to the desired temperature which you can set with the remote control.

Read the reviews of this fireplace and decided to take a chance and go ahead despite not having seen it first hand. So glad that I did. A friend who is a DIY enthusiast put it all together and it was up and running in about half an hour! It's lovely and about half the price of ones that I was looking at in store at our local home furniture store.

Nice product but components are let down by poor quality control.
Having read other people's reviews I thought I knew what to expect, however when assembling the Endeavor Danby MDF suite surround (mantel), it became apparent that the instructions didn't exactly match up with the practical build in several places, this was understood and eventually overcome. The main disappointment was with the large front bottom panel marked as 'H' it appeared to be constructed out of 2 separate pieces which are joined together (probably glued), when attaching to the left and right side panels there was a 5-6mm gap on the left side top piece, which on closer examination was due to the right hand panel bottom piece being the same 5-6mm too long, in order to rectify this I had to plane the right side bottom panel down so it would both fit together and then fit in to thebase panel. This has left an unsightly tear in the covering material which I now need to rectify somehow! Also, a couple of joining holes to marry the front top panel top the top panel are 5mm out and I needed to re drill them. When fitting the actual fire, which I haven't even tested yet, out of the 4 fixing brackets, only the top 2 line up with the fixing holes in the rear of the mantel side panels, this is no big deal as I can simply use alternative screws for the bottom brackets. Overall I think that if these quality issues were rectified it would be a brilliant product and look great, but unfortunately for me in this instance, not so.
