Great value bookcase, easy to build.
This bookcase arrived flat packed, I would advise you read the instructions carefully and identify all the pieces before beginning as it’s essential that shelves are individually identified so they go in the correct place, that said having familiarised yourself it’s easy and quick to put together, all screw holes were in exactly the right place and there were enough screws and pins. Once built the bookcase feels lightweight but also sturdy. There is an optional fitting for fixing the bookcase to the wall, a great idea if you have youngsters about the place, all in all, well packaged, clear instructions and good value.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get what you pay for
Barely acceptable quality. Holes misdrilled in multiple areas. If this is done on a jig then the operator must have been having a bad day or been totally negligent in their work. Various panels warped due to what can only be assumed incorrect storage or water ingress as the box was tatty and discolored upon receipt. Plastic part for fixing the back panels together broken upon opening the box. Luckily enough fixings and all adequately labeled, instructions also of good quality and not printed on something the size of a postage stamp. What should have been a 15 minute assembly took an hour and required additional tools to redrill fixing holes. All told for the price it just about passes muster.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight and lovely
For the price, the product is absolutely lovely. My partner wanted something small and sturdy and this ticked all of the boxes. Easily put together. Though definitely worthy of five stars, it might be worth knowing (for future buyers) that you need to screw into the wood as there are no guidance holes bar where you put the dowels. I chose this bookcase because I wanted something to mount on a wall and wanted to be able to glue the joints and add more screws, something I was doubtful of being able to do with veneered chipboard alternatives. Other reviews suggest that DVD cases can be a tight fit but my DVDs, including those in box-set boxes, can be easily fitted and removed.
