Good quality and price
Fitted for my spry 70 year old mum, was the cheapest and smallest that would fit the small loft opening ( every other was twice the size ) is spring loaded for easy opening and closing, unlike mine which nearly falls down and smacks you in the head, so added bonus Issues: instructions are terrible plan to spend half ur day reading them and also issue folding away ladder as spring loaded door wants to close on you... but I assume I could solve with the chains to extend the spring that come with it but magically disappeared, also poorly explained in the instructions with a nonsensical table lol good DIY skills and tools needed to recut hole in ceiling and cut ladder to length, I read some of these reviews and it is clearly the customers fault for not measuring properly....good luck 😄Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Potential risk of injury when unfolding or folding the ladder.
The Hatch frame and door are well made and easy to use, but in my opinion the ladder is dangerous to fold down and up. I am 6’4” and find it difficult to do, but my wife who is 5’4” really needs to use a ladder to get the ladder down or up, and runs the risk of seriously injuring herself. A few small changes to the design could make it slightly safer, but it would still be difficult for a shorter person to use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Loft hatch and stairs
This item is great quality and very good value, it also fits a smaller ceiling space as some are very large. Easy to fit my husband did it in 2 hours that’s with making the hatch hole larger too. Stiff but solid

Fantastic for awkward spaces and very sturdy construction.
Great product, I first fitted one for myself as I couldn't use the normal wooden version due to lack of room between roof trusses and the stair layout. These are a smaller size and are perfect for awkward spaces..
