Basically good product but with a few minor but easily sorted niggles.
Relatively cheap compared to much of the opposition so was pleased to see a basically well made product with good spray characteristics. The main issue was a rather poor quality seal over the reservoir which failed rapidly (I don't think I pressurised it unduly!) so I replaced it with a thick leather part cut from the side of one of my old workbooks and this has lasted well with no problems. It seems to be a little sensitive to pressure - and viscosity - but works very well when all is in balance and it didn't take long to sort this. I like the quick release lance connection - very good. One minor gripe, after some time of ownership, was the hardening of the plastic tube which after being stored coiled took some work with the hot air gun to stop it behaving like a weak spring, but once straightened was ok and I now store it straight and haven't had to replace it. Have used it today in cold workshop with hot slightly dilute waxoyl, all satisfactory.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Simply dosent work
Dosent spray at all, acts more like an air blade amd removes more coating than it applies as it dosent pick up liquid from the resevoir properly even when operated at the exact specified pressure. Tried with neat lanolin oil, (runny liquid) and heated waxoyl (very runny liquid), nether will spray properly out the side if the 360 nozel, and the other nozel just sprays out air, dont wasye money on this product, a garden sprayer will honestly do a better job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Just superb!!
I very rarely leave feedback let alone write a review, but this product is fantastic so thought I would break the habit. It’s is extremely well made and the extension hoses are great - especially the angled one making it easy to get on top of chassis rails or other cavities when you don’t need the 360 degree coverage of the other. It is also quite precise so overspray is not that much of an issue. It is quite heavy though when filled with product for spraying but this is just a sign of the quality. If you have had the other types of waxoyl guns which rely on sucking the product out (I have had 2!) stop wasting money and buy one of these. I didn’t even need to thin the waxoyl down and it worked a treat! Though expensive I think it is worth every penny.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

undercoating spray gun
Spray gun worked fine at first however the product I was using "Rust Seal" drys to a hard finish and the fitting at the gun end became clogged with thickening material. Had to clean with thinner and resume spraying. The wand worked perfect for application of product into tight places which could not of been reached by brush. Just dont pause once you start or product begins to set up when exposed to air. The poly tube line became kinked at the gun and was a problem so dont bend it in tight corner. Good buy
I bought this to spray ACF-50 corrosion inhibitor in the nooks on motorcycles where a standard sprayer cant reach. It does the job well. It needs fine tuning so you don’t administer too much. Only thing that could make me give it a 5* would to have the option to be able to buy small spares if anything failed. Other than that im perfectly happy.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Proper job
Good quality proper bit of kit, ive been using the plastic hand pump version for years and it was, at best, messy and unreliable. This one however has a good spray pattern and doesn’t block up if the waxoyl cools down. On a warm day it doesn’t even need warming up or thinning down! Does the job well
1. There are no instructions, if you need them you shouldn't be using this tool. 2. There is a spares list inside but there are no details of where to get them, no makers name on the box. 3. The seal around the pressure pot is weak and needed to be replaced by an "o" ring. Sorry don't remember the size but it's a standard one. 4. This tool will spray undiluted waxoyl on a warm day through both tubes really well and does a really good job. No other tool I've ever seen at any price will do this. You need to squeeze the trigger fully to get a good mist, 70 - 80 psi. 5. The kit has a good solid feel to it and comes with a spare set of nylon washers etc which I hope I don't have to use! 6. Cavity sealing a car is a lousy messy job but at least this tool will reward you by actually doing what you expect it to! 7. Wear a mask and expect to get filthed up yourself and also I guarantee you'll get waxoyl where you shouldn't. I have a little Aldi type compressor which powers the tool fairly easily and best of all an inspection pit!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

If you love your car or want to fully get the best out of it then this one is a must item.
Here in Iceland we got all types of snowy and salty roads and our cars get a beating from all the natural elements. So protecting the body is a good value. I am in love with this gun, massive and sturdy but so far Iv only used it with light oil and get a perfect mist and in fact when I sprayed a lot of fluid into my sill I did expect leftovers coming down the drain holes under the sill but I did not get any.. (came down the second round) but the fumes came out from all unexpected holes (no trim in car). So in short yes buy it and learn on the body of your car. Rust Proofing / Wax Injection Gun
Gives excellent results with no blockages and easy to adjust with a simple screw to restrict the trigger movement. Will spray a thin mist or a thick coat as desired. Comes with two extensions which are ideal for cavities and inside doors etc. I was using Hammerite Clear Waxoyl - I have two other devices but this one is certainly the best. I found I had to change the sealing washer after a short time as fluid was escaping around the seal - used a 34.5 x 3.5 ORing which worked perfectly though do not over tighten as the flange on the container is quite narrow. Extremely pleased with the result when coating all vulnerable places on a Classic Mini. Fairly expensive but well worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worth the expense
Used this to waxoyl my Discovery chassis, performed perfectly, very impressive. It took nearly 5 litres to complete the job. Very little mess. Although it's worth having a sheet down to catch drips, there was less wastage than using a brush. Did not need thinning, I just warmed the can in hot water before starting.
