Good unit but lacks USB interface
I had purchased this unit to replace an older Accurite sensor/display that would no longer record rainfall. The color display is very attractive and displays information logically and in a very readable manner. The controls are easy to use. Unfortunately, and this is my bad, the display unit does not have a USB connection to allow automated reporting via an internet-connected PC. So, if that's what you plan to do, look for a model that has a USB connection. For strictly home use, however, this unit is just fine.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

AcuRite verse La Crosse
Had it in operation for about two weeks,thus far working great. The test of time and the elements will tell the final truth! Had a La Crosse for two years,never have another one.One problem after another, mostly the wind speed and direction solar rechargeable Alkaline batteries they send with the unit,but they recommend you purchase Lithium for rain gauge and outside receiver.Go figure,they send one type for wind speed & direction transmitter,but recommend Lithium (that you buy) for all other outside stuff. My review
More difficult set up then expected. Wind speed does not appear to be very accurate although it may be just the placement of the unit. The gauges and information are initially excellent. Changing setting has proven to be difficult. Nice to have information inside although inconvenient to mount. Lots of reflection off face of unit unless one if at the proper angle.
