Great music, well interpreted and superbly recorded.
Another fine CD from this consistently good performer. Harry's versions of these mainly well-known and some not so well known Cole Porter songs are indeed impressive. Some follow more traditional lines whilst others depart from what you might expect, yet all are as enjoyable as you'd hope they'd be. Harry displays his piano playing on Begin the Beguine to great effect - probably my favourite track on the CD. Technical quality is first class and I'd recommend this CD to anyone with a taste for good music.
