Delicious, consistent rice
Highly recommended if you are a daily rice eater. Makes very good quality rice that stays fresh in the pot for up to 24 hours (the instruction manual says 12 hours). The entire pot is evenly cooked with no hot spots, soggy areas, dried out rice, or crusty bits. It cooks white rice, broken rice, and brown rice all equally effectively. It is a pricey product, but my last Zojirushi rice cooker lasted over 10 years, which makes it a really great value if this one lasts just as long.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Does everything it should while looking great.
This good looking rice cooker hits every mark. Yes, the price may seem a little high however this piece of kitchen equipment will provide many years of dependable service. Of course being a rice cooker it cooks plain white rice but it is capable of doing so much more. First off there is a quick mode which take about 20 minutes, regular mode about double that. Once done you should give the rice a quick stir, and then the machine will keep it hot and moist for up to 12 hours. There also numerous settings for different rices, porridge and even a slow cook mode. Pros: Does everything well Looks great Dependable Cons: Replacement cooking bowl is expensive. Make sure to use the rice paddle that comes with, or a bamboo type rice paddle. Like all non stick surfaces... do not use metal. Good rice cooker
There's a internal battery to keep the clock working, eventually it'll die someday, it'll require a person with some technical skills to remove the circuit board for replacement, I think the manufacturer deliberately did that for after market serviceVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
