    Endearing Comedy Drama

    The Doc Martin series were the best from Martin Clunes. The awkwardness of Martin's character interacting with the other eccentric villagers kept the viewer on edge, always waiting for the inevitable misunderstandings and upsets. Comfortable to watch though as things usually came right in the end.
