Works well - mostly....
Set up was simple - seemed to work just fine. We played around with it and found that as long as the doorbell is used in the "normal" way "Ding...Dong" (with a little pause when holding the button down) - that it works great. BUT - it you get someone that just slaps the button quickly - the main doorbell will ring - but the remote won't. This may be part of the design to prevent "false alarms". So this is at least an 80-90% solution - it's way better than nothing - but it's not perfect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Low Sound.....
Transmitter Unit was easy to connect to the original door bell chime. Also, I like the fact it doesn't need batteries. But the Receiver volume is way to low. Thus, it can be hard to hear, even with the Volume Switch set to high. If the Transmitter & Receiver Unit is still operational after 90 days. I may pull it a part, and tweak the amplifier, or add an extra amplifier so it is louder.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doorbell extender works great
We could not hear our chime while in the basement, but this handy device solved the problem. Easily installed with only a small screwdriver the transmitter is almost invisible.
