Excellent value for an excellent machine.
Great machine, that is so easy and lightweight to use and the charge is more than adequate for my three bedroom bungalow. Rather than vacuuming once or twice a week, I use it every day as it is much less hassle than plugging in and dragging around a conventional cleaner. Saves me time, in fact and isn't a chore whatsoever. The machine and all the accessories look brand new with no obvious signs of wear. It is extremely quiet, manoeuvrable to use and very powerful, even without using the maximum power function. It arrived promptly the very next day after ordering, packaged as if it was a new model and with 20% charge, so could be tested immediately. Two hours on charge and it was ready to go. It's so easy to empty and clean, I wish I'd got one years ago. I would most definitely buy another refurbished machine (the price of a new model was prohibitive. Very good but compromised!
Bought the V6 absolute but sent it back as emptying the bin was too annoying getting fluff stuck up the sides & battery life not quite enough. The V7 has a better battery & empty’s much easier....... but & this was a big but, unexpectedly the suction is less & the direct drive head is only 75% better than the standard V6 where as the V6 absolute I had was 150% better than the standard. This also doesn’t have a HEPA filter which the V6 absolute did. So this newer V7 total clean which I thought was Dysons top of the range like the V6 absolute actually falls short in a few areas. Ultimately I kept it over the V6 because the bin empty system would have annoyed me every time & the V7 has a much better design in that area, but as a complete comparison it’s not a complete step forward from the V6 & only you can chose which features you are willing to compromise on. A pleasant surprise
My much loved corded Dyson suddenly expired, my only grieveance being it's weight. I dithered over a replacement, I'm getting older..... The v7 has proved to be surprisingly easy to use, as required rather than vacuuming sessions. It is so much better than an old Dyson cordless I also have, with dirt emptying being the biggest improvement. The manouverability is better, as is the attachment system. The on off trigger is perhaps a wee bit too sensitive, starting and stopping so easily when simply handled wrongly. I honestly am thrilled by the over all ease of use, sad isn't it? Excellent
I was a little sceptical that this was just a toy and how could it ever compete with our corded vac. My partner really wanted one so we weighed up the pros and cons of the many versions and decided the v7 was the best all round fit for us. We were instantly impressed when it arrived. An immaculate machine arrived, nicely packed with its little Dyson Refurbished tag. Aside from the non retail packaging stating it was a refurbished product you’d never know. Tested on an area that had already been vac’d and was shocked that it still managed to find bits we’d somehow missed with the old cleaner. It’s light, well balanced and so quiet. I couldn’t believe such a small machine could produce so much power that it felt glued to the carpet as we were whizzing it around the living room. The cats were unsure of it, but that’s a big improvement on terrified cats running for their lives when the corded vac turns on! This wasn’t bought as a replacement for our corded vac, however I can’t see that it’ll get much use now. Probably only coming out when there is something we don’t want to use this on. Like brick dust when we drill holes to hang shelves maybe. The v7 has already proved itself very capable. So much so my partner has already claimed it’ll change her life! The only thing I wish it could do better is let go of the dust it collects. Emptying is easy but I find that closing the bin and giving it a firm bang on the base dislodges dust that gathers inside. Good and small, not long battery life.
I know Dyson products for a long time, and they are reliable as always. I have a 15years old dyson vacuum cleaner, and with proper cleaning of the filters, it still works like the first day. I wander how many other brands can say that for their products. The cordless ones are useful in many jobs, but I will not retire my corded one any time soon. The power and the life span of batteries it is very limited for now. Advice for Dyson: do not jump on the cordless only items just yet, the batteries are not too reliable right now. Brilliant cordless vac - should have bought years ago!
I'd been considering whether or not to go for this vacuum - my miele is very good but heavy and cumbersome (corded). This V7 is so easy - I need to do a daily swish round downstairs on my hardfloors (cat hair - bits n pieces etc) - and this is perfect - makes the job easy, quick and not arduous. Great little cleaner for those quick vac jobs.
Works really well. Battery life could be better, but then it would weigh more. With all the tools, especially the hard floor attachment, has become a real joy to use. Awesomeness
Our current Bosch cordless still works but the battery didn't last long and it wasn't the most powerful cleaner (compared to the standard corded ones). This Dyson is awesome. It gleefully sucks up everything and it purrs like a cat when in operation. The design and tools are well thought out and dare I say it looks kinda cool too. Plus my Wife is happy. Excellent value but need to wait but concerned about battery life.
Excellent Dyson product as expected. Well packed as new. Would have preferred to have a mattress tool instead of the soft brush tool because I could use the combi tool in place of the soft brush tool. Battery seems to last shorter than advertised, probably because it's refurbished but hope it's not too short. Time will tell as it's too soon. Light weight Heavy Weight
I bought this Dyson as I have a cocker spaniel and he brings dust and hair into the house. It’s there on the wall and 2 minutes it’s done and there is no faff of lumping a heavy hoover out of the cupboard.
