I didn't know my MacBook Pro was overheating, slowing the processor and other stuff! This fixed it!
My Mid 2010 MacBook Pro 13" A1278 had a noisy original fan and I had to reboot often because of slow performance and odd things. Replaced the fan with this Sunon exact match and the bottom of my MacBook no longer gets hot, just warm and is Silent but I can hear it blowing when I put my ear by the hinges and the warm air on my ear! And it no longer has crashing issued and performance problems, it's working well now! Oh and it was easy to get the back cover of the MacBook with a very small Philips driver and the fan only has one connector and 3 screws. The fan is not over the cpu, it's a very easy replacement. OH there was a fairly big clump of lint hair in the original fan inlet/outlet. You don't see this until you remove the old fan but mine was also making a loud noise so it was time and spinning slower than it should for sure. This MacBook just keeps going I did replace the original ram with more and the hard drive with solid state drive and the speakers about 3 times and the battery twice. It's been a very solid MacBook otherwise all these years! It's a real shame apple isn't supporting software updates for it anymore....Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
