The material of the cover is too thick to allow the item to absorb moisture. I will explain: I have 2 similar items from other manufacturers and they work fine as they have much thinner covers of a different material. I weighed this item before I placed it in my car and weighed it again 1 week later. It had gained just 30 grams - equivalent of 30ml of water. CRAP

Don't waste your money!!
Complete waste of money, have had this in my car since i bought it in October, it hasnt absorbed any moisture at all in that time. (The colour on the front of the bag hasnt changed) My windscreen still fogs up just as much as if the bag wasnt sitting on my dashboard. I thought it might have been one of them too good to be true situations ("Great a product that will stop my car fogging up!") but decided to risk it anyway and have now wasted my money.
