This model is identical to the DW5500D, but features a 2 leg design for easy double bass/auxiliary pedal accommodation. This DW5500TD model features the same heavy gauge tubing construction, double braced legs and integrated memory locks as the DW5500D. It differs only in it's 2-leg design that allows for easy integration of double bass drum/auxiliary pedals into your setup. Finally, the DW5500TD also comes with DW's SM379 clutch as standard!

10/10. You need this pedal
I've wanted to switch to DW for years but there was nothing wrong with my old set up.. until there was. I picked up a 2nd hand DW8000 double pedal and it was a game changer, however it didn't feel right with my old hi hat stand. I found this DW5500 2 leg being sold here for the best price online and the rest is history.. It feels smoother while at the same time really robust. The adjustable spurs are a nice touch, the locking spring tensioner is really simple and discrete, the bottom felt being fixed is also a really nice addition.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
