It makes you very sleepy and doesn't do much else ...
Expensive and pretty useless ! ....It makes you feel all hot and cold and doesn't do much to help you get rid of your cold/cough. However it is good taken just before bedtime if you just wanna fall asleep fast ! Like almost everyone else in my area I caught a awful cold just before Christmas 2019 and tried everything to get rid of it, as GP's no longer give you medicine anymore :-( After the Actifed failed to take care of my cold, I then bought Robitussin "Chesty Cough Medicine" sugar free non drowsy and after taking it for 4 days my cold and chesty cough all went away :-) My mum used to give me Actifed in 1982 for my colds and it used to work (and taste nice !) but now it still tastes nice but seems too weak to do anything other then make me sleepy :-/ Bottom line - Go for the Robitussin - It works ! ;-)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
