Fantastic walker 100% recommend this...
I had been looking for one of these for my husband that can now hardly walk as he was given one from the hospital with back wheels on it which was no help at all! (dangerous if you ask me!). So thought this would be a great bu and that's exactly what this is! Its very sturdy, the gripper to hold the frame with is very good and non slip, so easy to use with your hands. With the device that shuts it closed so you can leave it in the sitting room up against the wall and takes next to no space up at all....this feature is also very easy to press and put up and then walk with it. My husband is very happy using this frame and feels very safe using it, it's not at all heavy but very sturdy, i would recommend this product 100% if you need a walking aid for home or for outside then this would be the one to buy wish we had found this sooner. Excellent value for money
I had to order and get this delivered to my parents who are isolating during covid19 for my elderly father. I was worried that they would be able to put together and set it to right height for him but they managed really well. I think my father was hesitant putting his weight on it (he’s not obese) but now has full confidence and it has made a great difference to him around the home. My dad is now walking a lot better!
My dad has a very bad hip and is scared to use the new hip in his other leg because the first hip replacement, he was urged to walk soon after the op. The replacement broke out of place and dad lost his confidence. He tried using a zimmerframe with wheels but with his dementia, couldn't figure out to take 2 steps then move forward etc... This zimmerframe without the wheels is brilliant. Dad now walks 2 steps and moves it forward. The fact that it's collapsible, makes it more maneagable for my mum who is his full time carer.
