A really good James Coburn film from 1973. Entertaining and sometimes amusing. Good acting from Walter Pidgeon, Michael Sarrazin, and Trish Van Devere. A touching tale of a team of pickpockets. Makes for one to root for them and then feel sorry when they get caught. I recommend this film for all James Coburn fans.
Pickpocketing is an obsolete profession for obvious reasons. Since paper money is becoming less important and credit card technology has been enhanced this has gone the route of the slide rule.
