WAR ROOM DVD.
2 HOUR movie. Starts slow and at times boring. There is a lot of great points the movies put across. New ways to counsel marriages that are on the rocks. The use of prayer, and the power it has. It is a powerful movie, and touches the heart. The end was out-standing and super powerful.. No one knows it all, I learn also. Yes I would recommend this movie, and will load it to people who are having marriage problems as a tool. The fact is that we tend to put God's power in a box. This opens new roads. Powerful message regarding prayer in our lives!
A very well done movie with such well-cast characters who make the story SO believable!! Even though it IS fiction, it was delightful to watch the bonus features and meet an actual prayer warrior whose Bible was used in the filming and learn of many miracles that happened while this movie was being produced.. There is such a wide variety of themes (issues) addressed in this movie, all basically centered around the power of prayer in resolving these concerns---the threat of one's spouse becoming unfaithful, offering forgiveness instead of being offended, how children suffer when parents' choices are selfish or illegal, honesty in one's job, the power of confessing one's sinful behavior and the power of service in lifting our burdens, just to name a few. It was also laced with just enough humor to keep it from becoming too heavy, and outstanding athletic skills to make you feel awe for the sport of double dutch rope jumping!! Such a great, inspirational movie. I already own it and bought this copy for a friend. If you need a little help and/or inspiration on praying more effectively and with more power, this would be well worth your time. I can't recommend it highly enough. Prayer is essential!
This is absolutely a excellent movie. It teaches you how important prayer is and the fact we all have problems . This movie teaches you that God is so concerned about every detail of our lives. We must seek him and pray about everything. Prayer is part of how you build your relationship with Christ . God does answer our prayers!! I have watched this movie over and over and I have been blessed every time . I like how the elderly lady in the movie continued to encourage the younger woman to pray about her problems and I also liked when the married woman came back and shared with the older woman several times how God had worked things out and answered her prayers. This movie was very touching when even the husband , reconnected with God and he realized how merciful God is and forgiving God is .
