Could be better
I've tested this umbrella just the once but it survived very gusty swirling and sometimes horizontal rain without any problems so I believe this will probably do the job. A couple of gripes; the handle is hard and uncomfortable, a spongier type material would be easier on the hand. It's quite heavy as well but this just might be the nature of golf umbrellas. The seller I bought from just wrapped it in some sticky black plastic sheet and I was a little surprised it survived the post intact. But all in all, it's a good umbrella and well worth the money I paid.
