Good, but not all it's cracked up to be
Musically the songs on this CD are good, but they inferior lyrically to Roy's old hits, and on some of them his voice sounds slurred. When I first heard the album on tape about 25 years ago I thought that the tape had stretched, but now I know this was not the case, and that Roy was on the verge on another heart attack when he made these recordings. What spoils the CD most of all is the penultimate track, Coming Home, which is a really annoying song that just goes on and on and on though it has nothing more to say. But I would still commend it to Big O fans, as most of it is good to sin along to.

No one sings like Roy
Being a Roy Orbison fan and having listened to his songs for years I was pleased to find a good copy of this CD, the songs are every bit as good as you would expect from such an accomplished artist. The world is a much sadder place when a singer like Roy Orbison no longer graces it ! Thankfully this album does demonstrate just how good he was. Always a fan A++++++

The Big O - the greatest!
Roy Orbison simply had the greatest voice of any singer who ever lived. Sadly he died aged only 52 in the midst of his career revival. The posthumous King of Hearts is a beautiful album, and a wonderful finale to this fantastic man’s career.
