Title: Ivanhoe. Robert Taylor plays the title role, and Elizabeth Taylor and Joan Fontaine also star in a rousing adaptation of Sir Walter Scott's novel. Most spectacular of all is the siege of Torquilstone Castle, a wave-after-wave combat of arrows, fire, boulders, battering rams and blades.

  • Classic!

Wonderful Technicolor old Hollywood movie about the getting enough money together to pay the ransom for the Crusades King. Set when Saxons and Norman’s still hate eat other with all the squash buckling action you would expect. Also has a very young Elizabeth Taylor gooy eyed for the hero. Great classic film. Give it a look.
