Without warning, a number of SA-2 Guideline SAMs are launched from North Vietnam, targeting their aircraft. Several attempts are made to recover Hambleton. In the end, Hambleton and Clark are rescued by a USN PCF patrolling nearby on the Cam Lo River.

About this product

Product Information

Drama based on the true story of an American officer who is shot down on a reconnaissance flight over Vietnam and stranded in the jungle. The zone is too dangerous to allow for his rescue, so he digs in, helped only by a spotter pilot who circles overhead reporting on enemy activity. Whilst his colleagues back at base prepare for a bombing raid on the area, the man who normally plays soldiers from a safe distance tastes the horror of war.
