DYLON. HAND WASH DYE DOES HELP COVER BLEACH SPOTS

I used this dye to camouflage bleach spots on new trousers. I wore old clothes and used a bowl to dye and hosepipe to rinse in the garden which worked well. It gave my blue trousers a nice fresh look and hid all of the little bleach splashes bar one which is hardly noticeable and is a very dark colour. I have used this dye on three other faded blue trousers, using the navy colour and has completely revitalised them.

    Colour not navy, good coverage

So it died certain items fine as far as coverage. Tie died well too. The issue for the reduced stats is the colour. This should be navy and the dye is super Mark but everything came out like a light sky blue. Nice but not as advertised. I followed instructions to the tee.

  • Changed a old drsss that was tired in colour to a new up dated item of clothing

Wanted to change the colour of a Green linen dress to navy. Didn’t come out navy blue but came out a great denim blue. Super happy although it wasn’t dark navy.

  • Dylon Hand Dye

Easy to order, delivered in very good time. A hand fabric dye - clear, simple instructions on packet. I already had salt so there was nothing else to purchase. Recommend this product if you have something light coloured and you fancy a change. Time will tell as to how well the dye lasts.

  • Perfect for smaller items

This was great to cover a small stain in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, would use it again.

  • Lord Bromsash

This fabric dye was easy to use and did the job. I thought overall the cost ( you need salt and have to heat water), was around £5 and so for a cheaper item of clothing,it is probably easier to buy new. Which is a big shame. If the product was cheaper it may make for more recycled clothes.

  • Easy colour change

The product was fine and easy to use the only problem was the garment was not intended to take dye but still would buy again but make sure the garment was ok to dye

  • Revamped wardrobe

Dye dissolves easily in water and the packet details are accurate. Instructions for use are comprehensive and reliable.

  • Worked very well

I splashed a tiny few drops of bleach onto a merino wool jumper. Rather than discard it I tried the dylon and it worked the jumper is now a slightly different shade of navy but the damage has now disappeared. Excellent. The dylon arrived in good time and was well packed.
