A bit unsightly but works very well. Location is everything.
Does what I expected. Its effectiveness is all about its location; one corner of our kitchen seems to be particularly good, where other places catch nothing. Just occasionally a fly will wriggle free and land below, so don't hang above things like fruit bowls or chopping boards etc. A bit unsightly but works brilliantly when hung in the right place. When used at the same time as our fly screen we can open the kitchen door all day without getting overrun with flies. Am have been using this in my kitchen for about 2 weeks now and there is no fly stuck to the fly catcher. It seems like the flies are avoiding it...there was one fly that got stuck to the thing but somehow managed to escape, so annoying. I have tried many other sticky paper insect killer strips but find these , having a non-offensive fruit scent, are simply so much better at attracting and getting rid of tiny fruit flies and moths that otherwise are so difficult to get rid of once they're in one's house .
