  • Unbeatable value for tractor fans!

A great buy! The first practical lightweight tractor, the Ivel Agricultural Motor, was designed and built in Biggleswade by inventor, engineer and cycle manufacturer, Dan Albone (1860-1906) and exported worldwide. This book tells its story. The late John Moffitt acquired one which was the pride of his Hunday Museum collection. To bring the information about Moffitt's Ivel tractor up to date: after John's death his son kept it on his Northumberland farm until in 2019 it was sold at auction for the eyewatering sum of £328,600 to a descendant of Dan Albone's brother.
