Exactly as expected
Bought this and some generic flashing bitumen tape to repair holes and cracks in a very old asbestos or concrete wriggly roof. I scraped and wire brushed most of the debris and growth from each area and wiped down with rags but most areas were still wet due to snow showers at the the time. I'm fairly sure the material was porous and holding water too. I never tried applying tape without primer so don't know how it would have worked but where used with this primer all the repairs are still in place after a few months of poor Highland weather. This primer is very thin, spreads very well and covers more area than I expected. It seems to get hold of the substrate well and does what it says on the tin. Would definitely buy again.
