Not a viable pressure cooker.
The problem with this product is that it does not function correctly. The regulator valve weight, also known as a whistle does not function correctly. No matter how the heat or water content is set the regulate remains closed while pressure is built up when suddenly the weight shoots up to it's highest point releasing vast amounts of steam and pressure while staying fully up in a very frightening way. This occurs on every occasion and with both cookers I was sent. I have received a refund and purchased a different make of pressure cooker that works well.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
