Delightful dirt for days
Great all-rounder, not a super-heavy distortion but gives a very usable range of overdriven tones. At minimum gain it just adds a nice bit of grit, useful as a slightly dirty boost, while full whack brings plenty of Marshall-flavoured goodness for soloing. The tone controls are subtle, but with enough range to compensate for different guitar and amp voices. Likewise the 'voice' switch - hard to tell what it does, but it definitely makes a difference, giving a slightly more 'modern', less middly sound in the down position.
