Bought this to either replace or compliment my trusty CK cable stripper. Whereas it's a lot lighter and sits in the hand better I would not pension off the CK, yet! I needed something that could be used to strip T&E when it's in a back box. It's certainly able to be pushed into the box and as it strips from the front, as to speak, it can do the job. Trouble is that it really seems to on its limit at 2.5 - 6242Y. Stripping the conductors singularly is not that bad but the outer insulation gives a feeling of 'is it going to break!' Only time will tell if it holds up.
They just work. Been keeping to smaller wires as stripping 2.5 mm mains cable damaged my last ones, although they were 40+ years old (AB Mk1). Need to get the adjustment just right.
