Lithofin Rust-EX does not change the appearance of the surface and can therefore be used on single stains. Generously apply undiluted product to the dry surface and distribute with a brush. A purple discolouration shows the start of the reaction.

Not doing what its daidvit would do
This has only temoved minor small rust spots. not removed rust spots in the resin at all. Very expensive for 1 litre. It did notcthd job i exected and hopex it would do. Rust spots still there.

It worked for me
Garden furniture stored on my sandstone patio over the winter had left rust stains that could not be removed by washing or using a pressure washer. This product removed them after two applications. It is expensive and is not an instant solution, it took a couple of weeks for the stains to eventually disappear.

Great product
Excellent just what I needed to remove some rust stains caused by table legs on a porcelain patio.Took a few applications but worth the effort. Applied with a small paintbrush left for 9 mins then rinsed off and dried, repeated this until the stains had disappeared. Delivered on time excellent service highly recommended.

Made no difference to rust burn in patio stones

Removes rust stains on limestone
This works best on new rust staining, removing it completely. However, on older stains and rust spots within the limestone itself it requires multiple applications and patience. In the case of the worst older stains, it didn't remove them completely but they faded to being almost invisible and unnoticeable to most eyes.
