The Wolf Garten secateurs are simply the best I have ever owned. There are less expensive cutters out there but any I have tried includinga those with what are considered to be good brand names just don't compare. Design flaws
The product is well made but suffers from a couple of design flaws. 1. The blade doesn't meet the anvil at the hinge end and therefore traps material without cutting it. 2. Material builds up on the anvil and has to scraped off with a knife. I have 30 year old pair of secatures made by Wolf Garten that doesn't suffer from these faults. The changes may be for ease of manufacture or for blade replacement but whatever the reason Wolf Garten's design has gone backwards.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
