Needs qa MkII version
The basic design of this cheese cutter relies on precision manufacture to get the cheese wire EXACTLY the right length so that when the screw is tightened the wire becomes taut and leaves 3/ 4 mm spare to tighten it further when required. Mine had about 3mm of play when it came with the screw fully tightened. In consequence the wire came off the handle after the 3rd ot 4th cut. The method of attaching the wire to the handle is over complicated and could be simplified by drilling a 1mm hole (wire sized) right through the handle and doing away with the split rings.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
