Quite an expensive item but does the job so quickly.
It effortlessly cleans your aquarium with no fuss, hardly any noise and no water spillage unlike a syphon type cleaner. Takes no time at all to clean the whole tank. I have a very deep tank but with the extension piece it still works well. Better than nothing and using the gravel cleaner siphon
I bought this to clean debris and gravel whilst not removing water from the tank, between partial water changes. The suction is far less than I expected. Although it picks some bits up, it misses a lot and takes forever to suck into the tube. I find myself wiggling it to try to get the bits to go up, like catching something at a fayre. Valuable piece of kit
Bought this to replace the self same product which I have been using for about the last ten years. The design is exactly the same as previously and it does an excellent job of cleaning the gravel without removing water at the same time so very useful for routine surface cleaning in between water changes. Well made and fully waterproof, it can be used with the extension on or off. My only comment, which I made ten years ago as well, is that it would be good if both sections of the cleaning tube had the 'toothed' profile. However, this in no way detracts from it functionality and I have no hesitation in recommending it. OK, it's not cheap, but given that I've used the old one for a minimum of once a week for the last ten years, I think it good value for money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Value for money.
Thought the Eheim rather expensive. But after wasting money on a much cheaper copy which broke on first use I was thrilled to bits when I used the Ehiem tank vacuum cleaner.
