Simple, inexpensive and works well
The items are well constructed and easy to use. The coin sorter took a few minutes to figure out what went where but it was easy enough. The tubes come in penny, dime, nickel and quarter sizes. There is a slot at the top keeps you from adding too many coins. And yes, I counted to make sure it was exact and it was. Once the tube is filled it's pretty simple to slide the wrapper over the coins. I use pre-crimped wrappers and have not tried the open-ended ones that came with the unit. I gave it 4-stars instead of five because you cannot piles too many coins in the top tray. It seems to work best if you do a moderate amount at a time. Nice device for home use
Works very nicely to sort and count coins. Small and inexpensive. Need to dump coins in small batches. Otherwise trays get covered with larger coins and the smaller ones do not seethe through to the lower layers. Not so easy to insert the roll wrapper into the tubes but gets better with practice. Works, but takes some practice
Stuffing coins into paper rolls was more difficult than I had imagined. Getting better as I practice. No directions provided. Video on Web site was of little help. Web site should offer some tips on how to get the coins into the paper rolls more efficiently.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I really like the shaker coin sorter, just have to be make sure you do not fill it too full or you will not be able to shake the coins into the lower levels. as for the coin tubes, they seem a little loose for the coins, made of plastic, I had to count a stack of coins to make sure the stack going into the sleeve was the proper number.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great coin sorting but do it a handful at a time.
If you are like most people and have a jar of coins to sort from time to time, this is the perfect solution. We had a motorized one for years where the coins would get stuck with the gears, incorrect sorting etc etc even when a handful of coins was put in. Here, you put your handful on top, shake shake shake and coins are sorted. Mind you can't dump a whole jar at a time...but I couldn't do that anyway with my old sorter.
