I am the proud owner of an oyster pink Daihatsu Charade (2004). This is a rare beast and consequently spare parts are expensive and difficult to find. You can imagine my horror when my wife, an erratic and reckless driver, returned with a smashed offside mirror after an incident with a young cyclist only 6 days before the MOT was due! Thank you 10” x 7” Universal Door Wing Mirror Glass Repair Kit Universal Car Solid! You got Mr Pinky through his MOT. The mirror is sturdy while still being easy to cut with ordinary domestic scissors, and having carefully cleaned the blood off the existing plastic housing the mirror has,so far, stuck to the car like a limpet. The only downside is that I had to cut it to shape myself, resulting in a rather childish looking potato shaped mirror sitting well within the limits of the original plastic housing. This of course says more about me than the product. Considering this is not a ‘real’ mirror, made of thick, solid real mirror material, the cars behind me appear remarkably clear. I can distinctly make out ever hand gesture and flashing of headlights. I don’t like to exaggerate, but I’m convinced I can even lip read some of the drivers’ comments as they disappear behind me. All in all, a cheap and simple wing mirror solution for those possessing the requisite craft skills.Read full review

Difficult to cut. Could not get it fit perfectly flat so image distorted. My wing mirror is curved and the mirror has a bezel. Gave up and removed. Might be OK for wing mirror that was perfectly flat and no bezel
