Weighs 700g, not 500g, but still a good product
I was disappointed when I received this product to find that the stated weight was 700g, 200g more than the description of 0.5kg, which is misleading. An extra 200g is significant when you are carrying a heavy winter backpack. The proper weight should be made clear in the description, as it gives this product an unfair advantage when comparing it with other storm shelter products. However, having tried out the shelter, I am happy to give it 5 stars, as it kept three people very cosy for 45 minutes in wind chill conditions of -14C in deep snow at an altitude of 750m while we ate our lunch. It was easy to assemble and easy to pack back into the stuff sack after use. We found the main material used for the shelter strong enough to sit on the edges without feeling the cold coming up from the ground. The shelter was comfortable for three women to sit in and eat our lunch, however I think it might be quite a squeeze to get four inside with their backpacks. I would recommend this product.

NIce and cosy!
Great shelter for walking on the hills or mountains. Easy to unpack, and re-stuff into carry sack. Good overall quality. Good space for two people, might be a little tight for four especially with larger backpacks. Great to get out of the rain and wind to eat lunch. Keeps you nice and snug as well as dry.
