I am glad to have found this product. In the past I have always used French Polish by Liberon on dark wood and found it excellent, but feared that it would make my latest project which has a lot of fine marquetry too dark. This one is virtually colourless and has done a very good job.I have applied it with a tradtional cloth rubber in the usual way,and it has worked well.

This was the first time I'd tried French Polishing, so I went for a pre-mixed shellac, rather than mix my own. This worked perfectly, a gave a great clear, mirror-finish. Just remember, it takes many, many fine coats, applied with a rubber. Patience pays off!

As an artist working in acrylic I have to seal my painting, to do this I usually use a water solvent varnish this can be removed with water after it has dried which defeats the object, so have tried the Pale polish and found it works a treat, so thank you
