A lot of money for rubber o-rings, but what choice do you have?
The oil pan kit comes with a lot of things you will not use, and does not include the seals for the turbo oil cooler that must be removed to remove the oil pan. Considering that o-rings cost next to nothing to make, it's a pretty expensive way to get 5 o-rings. Depending on what you pay for the kit, you may or may not be better off buying just the individual seals you need from Volvo. I had a bad experience with Victor-Reinz aftermarket oil cooler seals being too thin and leaking, but I think the Victor-Reinz aftermarket oil pan seal kit may be OK. On the other hand, do you want to risk doing the job over to save $10 or $15?
