Now have a sunshade that works :D
Great value especially because brand new price of a sunshade is £1,620. That’s not a typo nearly 2 thousand pound for a motor and a blind. The condition was as described and works well. I checked it worked before putting everything back together and put new grease inside around the gears as the old grease was starting to go solid but that’s to be expected on 12 year old parts, this is so I can extend the life of the part. It was protected perfectly during shipping, it took me ages to unwrap carefully but I’m glad they took the time to protect it properly.

The sunshade had a broken shaft, but I needed the motor. That part is completely fine and works, my luck that I did not need the whole sunshade in a working order. Satisfied, though.
