Pretty good
This item arrived very promptly, and was easy to install. It seems to work. We now normally have Vodafone coverage throughout our house, when previously we had none. It does seem a bit intermittent. Sometimes the phone shows no signal. I have not yet tracked down why this is. And of course it doesn't work if our internet connection is down, since that is how it contacts the outside world. So it won't work as a backup for a landline phone. But it is great to be able to receive calls and texts at home, which has never been possible before. Remember though that you pare paying both Vodafone and your broadband suppler for usage. I haven't yet found out whether my Android phone will use WiFi if it has a connection for any data communication rather than mobile. Worth a go
I was not aware at first that this had to be registered with Vodaphone as no instructions were in the box. However having done that I had to register my wifes' phone number twice as it did not register the first time. I now get a very good signal which was what I wanted, however, periodically I get somebody else on the line and somebody else keeps dialing when I am talking. Most peculiar and I haven't sussed yet why? It has to be something to do with the Sure Signal unit as this has never happened before!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

YES it really does work
Signal here is very hit and miss. I thought I'd try this and boy does it work. We have 5 bars and excellent reception on all phones now, even better than landline. Simple to register and set up, takes about 1 minute to come online from being off. The reason for it being switched off when not wanted ? The unit runs HOT. It's rated at 20mW output (signal) and my meter shows it consumes 9W so the rest is heat. Simply make sure it is open to ventilation and it should be fine. Easy item to setup once you logon to the Vodafone website

Excellent product - with one small catch
We live in an area with no mobile signal of any sort within 200 metres of the house, so getting one of these is essential. The signal it produces can be picked up in various rooms and even outside - and we have 3 foot thick stone walls. Set up is very easy and adding mobile numbers of your friends (as long as they are on vodafone too) is simple. There is no setting of codes etc, it pretty much works out of the box. The catch? It's a catch 22! To register your suresignal you need to get into your online account. To get into your online account you need to receive a text code. To receive a text code you need a signal......... What we did in the end was drive half a mile, my wife access the account for them to send the text which arrived, then drive back and put the code in quickly before it expired.
