Birchwood Casey Permanent Blue paste
Very pleased with the result but you do need to be patient and do multiple applications if bluing a whole gun. I found one tube successfully blued two bsa airguns, doing the procedure about five times on each gun to get a uniform colour. The only downside was that while the barrel and cylinder of the Airsporter blued nicely the receiver was reluctant (probably a different alloy of steel). I had more success on this with BC's Super Blue, but apart from this I rate the paste more highly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

One of the best Cold Bluing products.
This is possibly the best Cold Bluing products available. the process of cold bluing won't last as long as traditional Hot Bluing but it's a lot easier for the DIYer at home. Follow the instructions and safety guidelines to the letter to achieve perfectly acceptable results. The blue will wear off in time due to handling etc but it's easy enough to repeat the process again when necessary.
