    Colour your world

Nice product for painting suncatcher. Paint can be squeezed out in drops to fill spaces by gravity.

  • Most critical review

    Realistically priced for craft projects...

I am not an experienced glass painter, and so have nothing to compare these with. However, it was fun trying them out, they are nice colours. I found I had to break larger areas down into small ones, as I found this paint a bit runny, and tended to run into corners before it would dry! okay on flat things, but not so great on curved surfaces. Colour mixing gives new colours, and some nice effects from painting over already dried paint. Tranaparency was good.

  • Useless mystery gloop

Incredibly thin colours. Almost no colour at all. Very, very runny. So non-horizontal surfaces are out. No labelling or instructions or any information at all supplied. Are they water-based or solvent-based? How do we prepare surfaces? Are they safe on acrylic or just glass? What will I need to clean the brushes with? Will the result be waterproof? Suitable for exterior use? Dishwasher safe? Ok to clean with detergent? All we get is four bottles full of mysterious translucent gloop. As if purchased from a dodgy roadside trader in a van.

  • Stained Glass Enamel

These enamels lack density, & give a very pale colour. Too many coats would have to be applied to make strong colours. It would be better to make them much stronger, with the option to thin down with a clear medium. I have worked in the sign writing trade & used to have access to a paint called "Flambuoyant enamel".which I cannot find a supplier of any more. I assumed that these paints would be similar.

  • A Splash of colour

I purchased this glass paint for a specific task but, there's more than enough to use on other unrelated little jobs too. Brushes wash out in soapy water and the paint does what it's supposed to easily.

  • Not what I needed them for.

I bought these to colour the glass in my front door, but they are obviously not intended for this kind of purpose. Fine for children's play I'm sure, but I will have to find something more permanent.

  • Value for money :)

Good value for money to do small projects with children. The only downfall that there wasn’t any instructions included on how long does it dry or what is the best way to apply. Other than that wouldn’t expect much else for the price. Overall great product. Thank you!

  • Not for outdoor use

Worked well, but washes off leaving glass original colour. Not ideal for outdoor use. No instructions

  • Effective cheaper alternative.

It was a very good price, the colour was good. I would recommend using a suitable outliner and fill in with the colour fairy thick direct from the bottle rather than trying to use a brush , leaving it for some time to dry, once dry some paler colours may need redoing. Whatever you are painting, I suggest keep each area as flat as possible until dry to avoid running.

  • May suit your project, sadly not mine.

Unfortunately I found this paint too wishy washy for what I was trying to achieve which was painting on glass nuggets to make eyes for fantasy purposes. Colours were thin and didn't give the vibrancy I needed. I resorted to nail polish which did the job brilliantly.
